2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to respond to your inquiries, deliver our services, and operate our website. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

  • Identification & contact details: name, email address, phone number, and social media handle when you reach out to us.
  • Project & inquiry details: information you share in messages, briefs, references, uploaded files, booking requests, or scheduled calls.
  • Booking information: details provided through Calendly when you book a consultation (name, email, time zone, scheduled time, and any notes you provide).
  • Billing & payment information: where applicable, billing name, address, and transaction details processed by our payment provider — we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical & usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and approximate location, collected automatically by our hosting and infrastructure providers in standard server logs.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: small files stored on your device to remember preferences such as your language selection and to keep your session active in the Sanity content studio (used by our team).

3. How We Collect Your Information

We collect personal information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you: when you email us, send a direct message on social media, fill in an inquiry, share a project brief, or book a call.
  • Through Calendly: when you schedule a consultation through our embedded Calendly link, Calendly collects and shares the information you provide as part of the booking.
  • Automatically: through standard server logs and cookies when you visit the website. This information is used for security, debugging, and operating the site.
  • From third parties: when you interact with us through platforms such as Instagram or other social channels, those platforms may share limited profile information with us under their own terms.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries, quoting projects, and providing the services you request.
  • Scheduling and managing consultations, meetings, and project deliverables.
  • Sending you transactional or service-related communications (e.g. proposals, contracts, invoices, project updates).
  • Operating, maintaining, and improving the security and performance of our website.
  • Complying with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
  • Where you have given consent, sending occasional updates about our services. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, and only to the extent necessary. These include:

  • Hosting & infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel) that operate our website and securely store related logs.
  • Content management tools (e.g. Sanity) used to manage portfolio media — these tools do not store visitor inquiries.
  • Scheduling tools (e.g. Calendly) used when you book a consultation.
  • Email and productivity providers used to communicate with you.
  • Payment processors, where applicable, to process invoices and payments.
  • Professional advisors (e.g. accountants, lawyers) when required.
  • Authorities or regulators where disclosure is required by law.

Each provider is bound by its own privacy and security obligations.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies. These are used to remember your preferences (such as your selected language), to keep authenticated sessions active in the Sanity content studio, and to support core functionality.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect parts of the site experience.

7. Data Retention & Security

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain client records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and trusted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to maintain a high standard of protection.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Subject to applicable law (including Quebec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA, and the GDPR for visitors in the EU/UK), you may have the right to:

  • Request that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected.
  • Request deletion or de-indexing of your information, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
